Hello Everyone,

Over the years, our club has taken bus trips to games many times. We last did it in 2010, so it seems that the time is right to for another day at the ballpark.

Below are the details for our adventure…

Event: Cardinals V. Cubs Baseball Game

When: July 21, 2012 (Saturday), 3:05 game

Where: St. Louis

Who Can Go: Rotarians, their friends, family, or business associates (in other words – anyone is welcome as long as they want to have some fun)

Limited Availability: We only have space for 50 on this trip, so please register early following the instructions below

 Cost: $100 per person

Cost Includes: Game Ticket, Bus to St. Louis, Soda/Beer/Snacks on Bus to/from, tip for driver

Cost Does Not Include: your lunch, food and beverages at the ballpark, any attractions other than the baseball game

Potential Additional Cost: if I am not able to secure a parking pass for the bus for free, we may need to kick-in a couple of dollars each on the day of the game to park it

Logistics : Leave from BankChampaign parking lot (2101 S. Neil Street – corner South Neil & Devonshire) at 9am, arrive St. Louis around Noon.

Bus will drop off at Laclede’s Landing for those wanting lunch and socializing – or the Casino, St. Louis Zoo if any families want to visit it prior to the game, St. Louis Galleria Mall for those that want to do some shopping – sorry, no stops in East St. Louis.

We will meet inside Busch Stadium for the game – you are responsible for making your own way to the game from your dropoff location – we generally walk from Laclede’s but you can hail a taxi if you prefer.

After the game, the bus returns directly to BankChampaign – if you leave the game early to visit other area attractions, you will need to be on the bus when it leaves or find your own way back to Champaign.

Registration: You must pay in advance for yourself and your guests in order to secure your ticket(s) and seat(s) on the bus. To do so, please send your check for $100 per person attending the event to me at the address below as soon as you make your decision.

The first 50 paid reservations will be going on this trip, so register early 🙂

Please Note: Since the cost of the trip spreads the fixed cost for the bus out over 50 people, we are not able to sell you a ticket-only for the game.
