Phyllis Mischo accepted this years award as a representative of C-U Sunrise for Volunteer of the Month for the work and maintenance performed at the Decker Garden in Mattis Park.

Champaign Mayor Deb Feinen presented to C-U Sunrise Rotary this past Thursday about the tremendous rejuvenation of the downtown.

Fascinating presentation last week by Dr. Steve Sonka, Professor Emeritus, UIUC on food waste and prevention of post harvest loss and what this means for feeding the global population.

This past Sunday, for the 13th year in a row, the Texas 4000 team crossed the border into The Last Frontier. Members of C-U Sunrise enjoyed a club social on a leisurely tour through downtown Champaign and Campustown Tuesday evening on Slowride Pedal Tours. Fun was had by all!

District Governor Kevin Yonce (left) was presented with a check of $150 to the Rotary Foundation in honor of his visit by club president Rod Roberts.
