Program

Jen, Rod, Lou and Rubin presented up to date information on how to be digitally connected with Rotary.

Jen began with information on the Rotary District and Club Database site: www.dacdb.com/.  As club secretary, Jen uses this site to submit club monthly attendance data, update club location and times of meetings, Rotary Foundation reports, and publish Club events and fundraisers with district wide distribution. Club members can sign on and update their own data.

Rod gave us a tour of our club’s web site: http://cusunriserotary.org.  Using it’s simple username and password entry, Rod explained all that the site contains including membership listing, volunteer sign-up sheets and how to use it. Each member can get into the site and update their profile and information.  Fortunately, you cannot update someone else’s information.

Lou presented a site that he has put together in which he has stored our club’s historical data, photos and information. Each club member can contact Lou and request to become a member in order to add information to the site.

In addition to the above club digital sites, all members were encouraged to become a friend of our club’s Facebook page.
