Ian Gindes, a professional concert pianist who has also served in the Army National Guard for 10 years, is giving a performance at Krannert Center.  The performance will honor veterans, those who defend the United States, and their families. Krannert Center is sponsoring this event in conjunction with their remembrance of the 100th anniversary of World War I.  The concert will be Nov. 2, 2014 at 3:00PM in Foellinger Great Hall.  It will feature a variety of American music, including famous works by Aaron Copland and George Gershwin.

The Krannert Center will have more information posted on their website and will begin their publicity next week.

All veterans, their families, and those in Rotary are invited to attend. It would be great if you could join us and show your support. We would like to see the entire hall overflowing with fans in a show of support for veterans and to enjoy what will be a fantastic concert!

If you have any questions, please contact Ann Gindes at 217-979-9525.
