Dear Rotarians:
I’m Jessica, with the Urbana Business Association and the Sweetcorn Festival. I’m reaching out to see if members of the CU Sunrise Rotary would be interested in volunteering as a group at the festival this year. The dates this year are Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29.
When we get social clubs, rotaries, etc to volunteer as a group, (in a beer stand for example), they have the option of putting out literature on their organization, tip jars to raise funds for their causes, and put out signage during their shift. Not to mention — it’s really fun!
Volunteer groups can also have their logo included on the back of our volunteer shirts, and all volunteers get a shirt, free food and drink, and a free ear of corn!
