DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES CENTER TO RECEIVE GRANT FROM C-U SUNRISE ROTARY, DISTRICT6490
September 22, 2014—(Champaign, IL) – DSC is looking forward to receiving a check for $5,150 to purchase Boardmaker Software. This software allows individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities the ability to communicate through visual support systems. Boardmaker is a highly customizable representation of language that will meet the individual needs of each person who uses it. Rotary District 6490 is funding $2000 of the cost through the 2014-2015 District Grant Program and the balance of $3150 is being funded by the C-U Sunrise Rotary Club from our annual fundraiser of Holiday Citrus Fruit sales.
