ANNOUNCEMENTS

Phyllis reminded everyone that the speaker at the upcoming July 13th meeting will be Professor Leslie Looney of the Laboratory for Astronomical Images at the U of I. His program will be on total solar eclipse that will past through Illinois in August.

Mary shared her recent experiences with a Rotary club in Ireland, including some of their projects and fundraisers. One project was the re-conditioning of bicycles by area prisoners and shipping them in containers to Africa. A fundraiser was a black tie affair with a live concert with area musicians.
